The church is located at the corner of South Main Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way (Historic Cantrell Avenue).

Via I-81: Take I-81 to Exit 247B. At the stoplight, turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Way (Historic Cantrell Avenue). Follow Martin Luther King Jr. Way through three stoplights. The entrance to the Emmanuel Episcopal Church parking lot is just before the fourth stoplight at the intersection with South Main Street.

Via Route 11: Take Route 11 (Main Street) to the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Way (Historic Cantrell Avenue). Turn into the parking lot entrance to the left side of the large white house located just to the south of the Martin Luther King Jr. Way intersection. Following it around the building to access the Emmanuel Episcopal Church parking lot.

From points east: Take Route 33 toward downtown Harrisonburg, to the intersection with Martin Luther King Jr. Way (Historic Cantrell Avenue). Follow Martin Luther King Jr. Way through three stoplights. The entrance to the Emmanuel Episcopal Church parking lot is just before the fourth stoplight.

From points west: Take Route 33 toward downtown Harrisonburg to the intersection with South High Street (Route 42). Turn right onto South High Street and follow it to the stoplight at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Way (Historic Cantrell Avenue), by JMU’s Memorial Hall. Turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Way and cross the bridge. At the first stoplight, turn left onto South Main Street. Immediately turn right into the parking lot just past the large white house, and follow it around the building to reach the Emmanuel Episcopal Church parking lot.
