Sunday School

Sunday School is held Sunday mornings at 9:15–10:00 AM (September – June) in the classrooms.  No prior registration is required; visitors, guests and new students are welcome every Sunday.  The Preschool (ages 3-4 years) and Kindergarten-3 rd grade classes use the curriculum Godly Play.  The 4 th -5 th grade class is using a lectionary based curriculum Living the Good News.  The Middle School and High School Classes use the Episcopal Curriculum for Youth, supplemented with plays, outreach projects and videos.  (Or you can just summarize by saying:  Programs are offered for Preschool (ages 3-4 years), Kindergarten through High School).

Children's Chapel

Children’s Chapel is offered during the 10:15 AM periodically throughout the year.  Preschool – 5 th grade children depart the service prior to the sermon for Children’s Chapel.  Here they have their own Bible lesson, discussion and art response time before returning to the Nave for Communion with their families.

Confirmation

Confirmation classes are offered for children 15 years old and older.  The schedule of classes is based upon the date of the Bishop’s visit to Emmanuel.

Childcare

Childcare is provided for children 0-4 years during the 10:30 AM service.
